Will there be cheats or is the leveling up and affection gain for Imouto be adjusted in the future? Also, Imouto made me promise to not get hurt for a month. In-game, how many days will I have to wait to pass by? Will it be 30? Do I have to have 100% of my health when I return home or do I just have to not die?

the red message about higher game engine means that there is a more recent version of the client and the game will ask you if you want to update or not.
If you update, the client will then detect that your previous save is from a different version which will display the "timeline" warning, but saves are compatible between 0.66 versions so you don't really have to worry about it for the auto updates.
However, i'm surprised that you say you have this happening every day. Let's say you install 0.66C, then you should get auto update to latest compatible version followed by the "timeline" warning when game then restart after update and you load an existing save.
After that point it shouldn't make a new auto update request unless a new version has been released and if you save the game i'm pretty sure the new save should be flagged as the new version so you shouldn't get this message when loading it. If you load a save made before the auto update then it is likely normal if the warning appears.

on one hand i really home tehy eventually make a low settings version of the thing, on the other that implies that some of those very hight quality images are still loaded during the rpg segment and that might be making it slow for me:(, alas there are other games

Love the game, but the gameplay loop is honestly too slow and there isn't much h scenes. I know it's in early stages but you should focus more on creating h scenes but that is just my opinion.
you can save the game, i know that. but that is while you are playing the game. but if you save the game and quit, then restart it. it makes you start over? where is my save? does this happen to everyone, or is it just me?
Try playing the game as administrator, sometimes it happens, if it's like that check if you have all the save files in the right spot, usually when u update and you don't add all saved files it doesn't show old ones
you get salmon and other fish types by using a bomb item and then throwing it into water before it explodes in your hands. Crocodile Dundee style fishing

Don't die in 30days straight. Don't go home early than 2pm. Always equip a Feather of Firebird in case you accidentally fell in a hole.
ofc there is a cheat but I wouldn't say what it is. you gotta be OG to know it. it ruins the fun and hard working grind

顺带希望增加更多npc，缺乏更多npc互动感觉好孤独......而且钱到了后期不知道该怎么花了，能否设置一个通过消耗金钱增加储存空间的选项？又或者购买一个箱子，每次归家可以增加一个 “将装备置入储存箱” 的选项并围绕它展开一些小场景（例如恶臭武器置入之后会在第二天被吐槽什么的）

there was an improvement but i still think its unreasonable that a visual novel takes up 1300mb of ram
Because we use 2K and 4K quality images, and the music files are high-quality as well.
